Judicial Collections of Court Ordered Fines & Fees

Burnet County established the Collections and Compliance Division November 1, 2004 with the assistance of the Office of Court Administration.  The collection and compliance department is a division of the Burnet County Treasurer's Office.  The purpose of this department is to aid the courts in collecting past due fines and court costs and assist defendants in successfully complying with their court orders.  Currently the District Court, and the County Court at Law are utilizing the services of the Collections & Compliance Division.

Burnet County Collections & Compliance Division provides the courts in Burnet County with the means of financial assessment and verification so that an individual may request a payment plan based on their finances in order to pay for fines due in reference to enforcement of a court order.  This would include, but not be limited to misdemeanor fines and felony fines.
