eDiscovery

After years of the Burnet District and County Attorney offices working with our program developer, we are now ready to move forward with e-discovery.

If you already have a login to the portal through the Burnet County District Clerk’s website, you should already have access to receive e-discovery. If you do not have access, please go to the following website to register.  Per County policy, we will need the actual attorney registering and not administrative staff.

Once you have registered for the Discovery Role, please email Jana Mitchell (jmitchell@burnetcountytexas.org) so she can complete your registration.

If you are unsure if you are already registered, you may contact Jana and she will be able to check for you.

Once you have registered, and your client’s case(s) have been filed within the County Court at Law, we will be able to send you all the paper discovery through the discovery portal. With the new feature, the date and time discovery is sent to you will be available as well as the date and time discovery is reviewed.  At this time, we are unable to send videos through e-discovery. However, in accordance with our current discovery policy, we will have those available for pick up at your earliest convenience.

We will begin providing discovery through the discovery portal effective March 8, 2019, so please be sure and take the time to register.  After that point, we will not be emailing discovery, which is our current policy.

Should you have questions or need assistance, please contact our office.
