Jimmy Ballard was appointed Constable in May 1995 by Commissioners Court.  He won election in 1996.   Although Jimmy lost the 2000 election, he was reappointed in 2003, and won re-election in 2004. He holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate, Investigative Hypnosis Certificate, Civil Process Proficiency Certificate, Crime Prevention Inspector Certificate, is cross designated as a United States Custom Agent, with over 2100 hours of continued education completed. 
 
Jimmy is married to Linda (Wall) Ballard and has 2 children: Brook (Marble Falls Police Dept.)  & Garrett.
 
He has dedicated thousands of hours for non profit civic programs including clubs, fraternities, and volunteer work for kids everywhere.
