Burn ban is in effect conditions will be reviewed by Commission's Court every two weeks
BURNET COUNTY BURN BAN ORDER
Outdoor burns should be conducted under optimum conditions and supervised at all times. Pay attention to
current conditions and forecasted conditions.
Outdoor burning is regulated under state law. As conditions warrant, the county may adopt a burn ban.
Burn ban status may be derived by calling:
512-756-8080 (Sheriff's Office),
512-756-5420 (Main Courthouse) or
512-756-5437 (Environmental Services).
Notify the Sheriff's Office at 512-756-8080 before burning. If possible, notify your local volunteer fire department before burning. Outdoor Burn Guidelines
