The Burnet County Historical Commission (BCHC) needs your help to tell the next chapter of our county’s story! As part of the BCHC's mission to preserve Burnet County history, we are collecting local family history materials to be included in Volume 3 of the Burnet County History Book Series.

This new volume will highlight the families who made their way to Burnet County between 1900 and 2000. Whether your family arrived during the early part of the century, or as part of the wave of newcomers in the latter half, your story belongs in the book.

The BCHC is seeking family photographs, written stories, and printed materials that reflect the lives of those who helped shape Burnet County during the 20th century. Submissions can be provided as physical or digital copies. Whether you have treasured photo albums, letters, or typed memories, we want to hear from you.
