FEDERAL DISASTER INFORMATION
Greetings All,
I have sent out a county by county survey to the Judges and County EMC’s about the reported residential damage that came in through the Survey 123 portal established by the state. A click through link is on thewww.tdem.texas.gov/warmfor the “Self Reporting Survey.” I have attached a snapshot of the report from the entire region with this email. Below you will find information about how to find the output for the survey for your community and the links to provide to the community in support of this effort. Not all counties within CAPCOG have been declared major disasters. Not all levels of PA have been granted. It will take a concerted effort to collect all of the damage information based upon it being so far flung. This is not like a flood or localized incident. The boundaries for damage are bitter than the state of Texas itself.
TDEM has been promoting their statewide damage “Self Reporting Survey” where residents can report damage directly into a form which outputs to a board within WebEOC. I have attached a snapshot of the current level of resident self-reporting to this email. You can review in real time the updates to the “Self Reporting Tool” Common Operating Picture by visiting WebEOC and selecting the “TDEM Common Operating Picture – Recovery” board. Due to the widespread nature of this incident residential damage could be just about anywhere within your county. This aggregation of data will be very useful for your county’s Disaster Summary Outline (DSO) and increasing the level of Federal Support for your community.
There a few ways for your residents can access this self-reporting tool. They can use this linkhttps://arcg.is/uOrOb or QR Code:
or they can be directed towww.tdem.texas.gov/warm Please feel free to circulate this information through social media, websites and to your community.
Please feel free to reach out if you need assistance with your Disaster Summary Outline (DSO) or any other documentation.
Thank you for your service,
Martin
