Our office will be closed on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, for staff development and training. We will reopen on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

In an effort to better serve the citizens of Burnet County, the Tax Assessor Collector's office is extending our drive through hours every Wednesday. Our drive through will stay open until 5:30 for vehicle registrations. Car title needs must still be handled at the counter inside the office during normal business hours.
