What does Human Resources do?The HR Department administers a comprehensive Human Resource Program for Burnet County that includes: 
1. Job Postings for Burnet County Departments.
2. New employee orientation and processing.
3. Administration of job classification and compensation plan.
4. Administration of Benefit Programs:
a. Health
b. Dental
c. Retirement
d. Life insurance
e. Deferred Compensation
5. Development and Administration of Employee Personnel Policies and Programs.
6. Maintains compliance with Federal and State Rules and Regulations regarding personnel issues.
7. Administration of workers compensation and unemployment.
